Eligibility

  • 18 years or older

  • Single

  • Mentally & physically stable

  • Battling homelessness, domestic violence, or addiction

  • Residing in Shelby County

Before Calling

  • Have basic personal info ready for phone screening

  • Be ready to discuss your needs and situation


Intake Appointment

  • Bring 2 forms of ID

  • If approved, can move in same day (beds not held)

  • If full, will be added to waiting list


What to Bring

  • Clothes

  • Bath towels & washcloth

  • Personal hygiene products

  • Prescription medication

  • Cigarettes & lighters

  • Cell phone & charger


Do NOT Bring

  • Drugs, alcohol, or paraphernalia

  • Radio or laptop

  • Weapons

  • Loose tobacco, rolling papers, or e-cigarettes

  • Clothing with drugs, profanity, or sexual content

LINCS is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 transitional home for women who are battling homelessness, substance abuse and domestic violence. Women admitted to the program can stay up to one year. Amenities include daily meals, clothing, transportation, basic necessities, and wraparound services.
